The first time I watched Insidious I was house/dog-sitting for a friend. My husband was upstairs asleep with the dogs and I was alone in the family room. Needless to say, I was scared out of my mind. Quite a few times I thought, “What the hell am I doing!?” Lucky for me the movie took a hard turn into Cheesyville and I was able to sleep nightmare-free. Continue reading

You will either love It Follows or you will hate it. My husband enjoyed it. I disagree (obviously).

It Follows is more of a throwback nod to the horror of movies past (ie. Halloween, Friday the 13th). Same feel, same soundtrack, same Swiss cheese plot. My husband’s preferred type of horror. Not mine. Continue reading
